My friend Coni is moving away to Seattle. So we had a potluck and I got her the book she has been bugging me forever for. One of my favorite reads last summer.
Which, by the way...the third in this series comes out at the end of August. Yippee!
And I got this...I'm excited!! Woohoo! I'm going to read this one
right now. :)
So, how many members are there of the Cindy's Book Club? Sad to say, just myself. As much as I would love to get together with friends, and gab...and partake of the goodies, my schedule is crummy. Why do I have to work? :p LOL. Wait...so I can pay my bills and play here in cyberspace. Since I can't partake in book club, this is my invention. If anyone would like to join me in my one person book club, feel free. We're friends...we can gab, and we can partake in the goodies annoymously :). But, I'm going to be good and finish this book before the movie. Ready, set, GO!!
I can't wait for the Mockingjay book to come out. I read the golden spiral books, but now I have to wait a whole year before the 3rd one comes out! Boo!
ReplyDeleteI loved the Hour Glass Door Series. What did you think of book two? I almost wished I had reread Hour Glass Door, before Golden Spiral. But I caught on and I loved it! My friend Theresa didn't enjoy it as much as I did. I agree with you though, boo for waiting another year! Another good one is called Hush, Hush. :)
ReplyDeleteI have a hard time committing to a book series, so I never got past Hunger Games. I sooo enjoyed the candid humor in Eat,Pray,Love. I plan on going to the movie (wanna come?), but I'm afraid it won't measure up to the book :(

I think you would enjoy Golden Spiral..it was so good, I got four peoplo to read it. You can find them at Deseret Book Hour Glass Door and Golden Spiral. If YOU thought Hush, Hush was yummy, then you might devour hour glass door! I would LOVE to go with you. I'm hurrying to finish, but im only on chapter 3!!
