Things I Learned Today

Big Lots...good stuff, good laughs. And they have furniture?

Its a Snapple. Wait its a candle and air freshner? And it smells good too. I'm sure its still made from the best stuff on earth! Can't believe I remember that. I love Snapple!

Dollar Tree has some amazing finds. I found James Blunt and treasures like.....

The Wedding Workout...it is hideous and brings me to tears from laughing. SSSHH...Don't tell my roomate, its her present! ;)

I discovered I don't like coke zero OR pepsi max. Cherry coke zero pls.

And lastly, I didn't know that a membership to your local library can expire...let alone Purge you. I felt like I was being kicked out from my library, sniff sniff :). Hey, I read plenty of books, it just hasn't been ones from my library, LOL. I guess when I graduated from college, for awhile didn't want to open up another book at all. But then slowly, I came around again. I just didn't go in there and you know...sometimes there are some scary people there. Then I got the lecture from the librarian on all the reasons WHY I should attend the library...I wanted to stop her and say oh please!! I had to take a library class, for one day in nursing school. I know all the why's. So today I feel like a flunkie!! :)

We discovered ABC in KONA, although there's one in Vegas.

Here's the turtle, or one like it that me and Drea LITERALLY almost ran into. The lifeguard yelled DON'T MOVE....TURTLE CROSSING! And there the turtle was..the funny thing was that the glass bottom boat tour was trying to show us the turtles but we found them on our own.
However, big fine of $ 10,000 if you touch them.

By Wednesday, the time of our beach outing...I was sick!! Well, on tuesday afternoon...I booked my spa appointment and had a massage. If you ever do it, it is worth it. With that being said..she repeatedly told me how I was deteriorating right before my eyes?! And trying to push all of their "special products"..sigh. If I wanted to know all that I would ask! But, I'm sure it is all apart of their job. I think it might have been the climate. It is so tropical and floral...I'm sure I had some allergies going on. It just took me a couple of days to to take effect I guess. At first , all I wanted to do was sleep all day. But I told myself go and get up! If your on death's door you go, when are you going to be in Kona anyway? And, I already prepaid for this..so if I was on death's door here I come. Hellooo..Benadryl, LOL. In Kona we stayed on the beach, and we got to use the Marriott's pool toys. Scuba stuff, boogie boards..kayacks and glass bottom boat tours. Now, take in mind I didn't feel good, so not so many pictures here. But alas, I've discovered google. And I'm throwing some pics from there too! And lastly, Lovely Kona was where I got the MOTHER of all SUNBURNS!!! :( OUCH!!! I applied and reapplied the sunblock SPF 50, why couldn't I take after my Dad and just tan nicely? Nooo, I take after my mom's side who had a dad with skin cancer, and everyone burns. BOOO! That is all. ;)

Later that afternoon, I made a kukoi nut neclace, yeah I attempted to be crafty, it looks pretty much like this except it has white flowers in it. Very cute, you'll see it soon.

We ate macademia nut ice cream...I tried guava yesterday, mmmm.

This was a fun, but long day, again. I loved it though. We started with a tour of Rainbow Falls. There were mango trees everywhere, and it stunk. It was humid, it rained on and off all day, but it was welcome. I love rain!! I really enjoyed Volcanoes National Park, very interesting. I wish that I could see all this from the air, but I booked one for later this week, that was cheaper. Amazing experiences, good friends and good food. We can't go wrong in paradise! :)
